Top 100 Movies
Here's a nice big list of the Top 100 Movies as voted by IMDB viewers. The list isn't exactly the same one as you'll find on the actual website, as this is the one calculated with the correct mathematical algorithms, and can be found here. And now, for what you do - go down the list, and for every movie you've seen, make it bold; and then for every movie you have on DVD or Video, etc, mark it italicised. Then, for movies you haven't seen, but want to see, mark it underlined. Looking down my list, I'm surprised at how little I've seen - but you can see the clear favourite genres through the selection.

Ah, where to begin - there are so many on there that I could ramble about and nag you to watch with my recommendation. But I shan't.

Well, I might mention one or two *coughLAConfidentialtheShawshankRedemptionIt'saWonderfulLifecough*

Well, to be honest, I'm not even sure why I haven't seen, apparently, the Top Movie of all Time.. I should try and pick it up sometime.

Shawshank was a flop on original release but then gained a real word of mouth following. Apparently a lot of American audiences were put off by the title (WTF?). A real moving, inspiring tale.

Heheh, Donnie Darko really was quite a big pile of pap, really. Any reason you saw it? Were you forced to, or did it just scream out and ask you to watch it? Or perhaps its because the DVD costs £2.99 at MusicZone :P

The price tag of £5.99 at HMV did it for me. Figured as it had a 'cult following' I'd check it out, thought it a big pile of wank. But it might be better on a second viewing...if I can sit through it. I may have missed the entire point of the Time Travel stuff.

If I'm in the mood for some time travel, bring me Back to the Future anyday.

Well, I thought I would take the advice of the critics, and stay the hell away from that movie.

A wise choice. Mind you, The Day After Tomorrow is on my TV at the moment. Citizen Kane it ain't.

Thanks for paying my weblog a visit! I think some of the startling results you found were incredible - I cannot believe how this differs from IMDB's Top 250 movies list...
